Charlotte's Web
The other book-to-movie offering on December 15, is the classic Charlotte's Web starring Dakota Fanning, Julia Roberts, Oprah Winfrey, John Cleese, and even Cedric the Entertainer. Visit the Zuckerman's Farm and meet all the animals there. You can your own Charlotte-themed story to the website!

My library's Fun Committee just sponsored a tree decorating contest for all of our departments. Inspired by the opening of the new Charlotte's Web movie tomorrow, we created a Youth Services Department tree using farm realia and props from our storytime collections and information on spiders and E.B. White from awesomestories.com. The best part is that we won first place (and a pizza party)! We're thinking we'll have to go to the movie together to celebrate.
